About me
Gustavo “Gus” Grillasca is a Mexican engineer, artist, and multidisciplinary creator whose work spans from molecular biology and philosophy of science to political theory, finance, and cultural thought. With a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and over two decades of experience in technology, education, and innovation, he has established himself as a thought leader and pioneer at the intersection of art, science, and decentralized digital economies.
Grillasca is recognized as the first cryptoartist in Latin America and one of the earliest global pioneers in the creation and dissemination of digital collectibles and NFTs. Since 2016, his work has challenged conventional art systems by merging hand-drawn illustration, sculpture, and digital algorithms into provocative pieces that explore cyberpunk aesthetics, memes, and socio-political commentary.

Philosophy & Vision
Gus Grillasca’s creative universe bridges the analog and the digital. His output ranges from hand-drawn ink works and sculptures to immaterial algorithmic creations, always blurring the boundary between the physical and the virtual. Unlike dystopian techno-futurism prevalent in the West, Grillasca envisions a humanist future where technology is not an oppressive force but an ally that amplifies creativity, strengthens community bonds, and reconnects humanity with land, history, and family.
